Seattle Sports Tech Hackathon 2017

June 24, 2017 – June 25, 2017 all-day
111 S Jackson St
Seattle, WA 98104

Join the Seattle Sports Tech Meetup for our first annual Hackathon at Galvanize Seattle hosted by the Seattle Sounders with data provided by Sportradar.

We’re seeking teams and individuals who have a desire to contribute to the integration of technology with sports. We’ve confirmed that 1st place for the event will be a $20,000 API package from Sportradar! We will be joined by Seattle Sounders FC CEO Adrian Hanauer on Sunday at 5:30PM for a keynote to kick off the final presentations. All attendees will receive $700 in server access by Wowrack and ELITE Access to StartersHQ.

Our judges have been confirmed:

  • Caitlin Goetze, Lighter Capital
  • Gary Rubens, Startit Labs and i1Biometrics
  • Randy Massengale, Spinoza Technology Inc
  • Jordan Nilsen, Hero Sports

We’ll be tuned into all the local sporting events: including the Seattle Seahawks home opener and the Sounders FC match vs. San Jose. Sportradar will be providing open access to their API for participating teams, and the Sounders will be hosting live events at the Ninety. Come participate in building the future of sports technology with the Seattle Sports Tech Meetup. Make friends, write code, and you might just create the next big thing.
